From funny childhood snapshots to family photos, to pictures with treasured friends, the senior poster is a way to showcase your graduate's personality and accomplishments. And they are a tradition at Hastings High School!
The posters line the hall during the All Night Grad Party for the graduates (and parent volunteers) to enjoy. Use your imagination to make a poster that is a one of a kind tribute to your graduate. And when the grad party is over...proudly display it at your home during your own grad party!
Thursday, June 4th- 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Friday, June 5th- 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Please drop off posters at the LOWER LEVEL of the high school. Volunteers will be there to collect.
Am I required to make a poster?
No. It is completely voluntary.
How big should the poster be?
Most people make 20"x30" posters. They can be smaller, but please, not larger as we have limited space. Please do not use foamcore...it is too heavy to stick to the wall.
Can I embellish the poster with scrapbooking stickers etc?
Yes, be as creative as you like! Keep in mind however, that very heavy posters can sometimes fall despite the heavy duty poster tape we use.
Can I create a collage poster online, using Shutterfly, Walgreens, Sam's etc?
Absolutely. In the last few years, this option has become more and more popular.
Will I get the poster back?
Yes, your graduate will find it in his/her prize box at the end of the grad party.
Where do the posters hang?
The posters line the lower level hallway between the gym and the cafeteria.
We can always use a few extra hands to receive and hang posters as well! If you are interested in helping, please contact Julie Larson at Julieaslarson@comcast.net
